Assessment Development

Remote Full Time Ops

Our team loves working at Interviewed because most of our company is full-time remote and the work we do is meaningful, intellectually interesting, and challenging.

Interviewed is a next-generation job assessment provider that works with companies like Fidelity, Uber, and Thumbtack, and Instacart to develop more effective ways for the best job candidates to demonstrate their skills and get hired.

We are growing rapidly and need to expand our Assessment Development team.

As an Assessment Specialist, you will create brand new assessments across a wide variety of subjects. You’ll repeatedly dive into new subject areas that you’re unfamiliar with and gather material from subject-matter experts. You will use their insights and content to develop best-in-class assessments to select the strongest job candidates.

Interview process

After reviewing your initial application, we will invite strong candidates to see what this role is really like by participating in a micro-project. The project is a highly structured scenario in which you will create a mini-assessment. The next step is video interviews with the hiring team. The final step is a paid project that you can complete over the course of 1-2 days. This is a full-scale version of the micro-project scenario and you will create an assessment from start to finish.

Qualifications and Skills

For each of these statements, ask yourself, “How well does this describe me?”

  • My background builds credibility -- I formally studied Instructional Design or IO Psychology.
  • I’m experienced. I’ve designed assessments for adult education or talent assessment.
  • I know the industry. I’m familiar with many existing HR assessment tools.
  • I am highly self-motivated. I don’t need someone to tell me what to work on next.
  • I’m scrappy. I don’t need an instruction manual… I’ll write the manual as I go.
  • I don’t need lots of daily social interaction to be happy. I’ll be more productive working on a remote team than I would be in an office.
  • I’m tech-savvy. People come to me to get help.
  • I like the idea of joining a tech-startup. If you got through the list without any glaring red flags, we’d love to talk with you!
